Choose exchange API permissions safely
Grant only the access needed for your selected product.

For research-only use, a trading API key is not needed. For live execution, grant the specific read and trade permissions required by the exchange and market type. Never enable withdrawals.
If possible, use exchange IP restrictions and a dedicated subaccount. Review and rotate keys if you suspect exposure.
